Michigan's Adventure

On June 28th, we took a little drive for some waterpark and rollercoaster rides. I grew up going to Great America in Gurnee, IL and Ryan loves going to Cedar Point. We used to go every year around my birthday to CP.

Jack's first rollercoaster experience was at Animal Kingdom on Expedition Everest. He still talks about the Yeti tearing the track apart. I guess he just loves the thrill. He was sad that he was 2 inches to short for the corkskrew. Next year should be no problem. His favorite of the day was Shivering timbers, "I screamed liked a little girl, let's ride it again."

Tyler went on a little one and that was enough for him. He did like the Logger's Run and went on it twice. He looks a little scared in this picture.

Advice from Jack

Jack's Words
"Mom, You need to calm down. Take a deep breath and let it out slowly." (I was a little stressed after taking the boys to Meijer)

Road Trip to the U.P.

Ryan wanted to show us, where he goes snowmobiling every February with his buddies. We drove to Taquhmenon Falls State Park. (You can tell there are budget cuts, the mosquitos were bad.) I raced Jack to the entrance.
Then we drove thru Grand Marias. The rain started, so we went and stay over night in Mackinac City. The boys love to drive over the bridge, but I could just stay in the Lower P.

Getting Started

Since I have started scrapbooking, I am having a hard time remembering everything that happened during our vacation and everyday life. To capture the funny quotes of the boys and all the exciting things we do as a family, it is time to start blogging. Then, I can just cut the text and keep moving along with scrapbooking. I have 6 years for Jack alone.
